What's Changing?
Previously, setting up a task reminder sent only a single notification. Starting now, the system automatically sends up to four targeted reminders in sequence as a task deadline approaches and eventually passes.
🚗 Vehicle tasks
👤 Driver tasks
📦 Procurement tasks
💥 Damage reports
📑 Fine / penalty tasks
No setup required! If you have already configured a reminder to be sent for such a task, the new 4-stage sequence will be applied immediately – including for existing tasks.
The Automated 4-Stage Reminder Schedule via Email Notification
The new sequence gradually escalates urgency and reminds recipients right when it matters most:
Notification Type | When is it triggered? | What does the recipient see? |
1. Upcoming | Custom: Based on your selected timeframe (e.g., 30 days before due date). | Standard notification about an upcoming task. |
2. Due Tomorrow | 1 day before the deadline. | Urgent reminder featuring an orange-colored due date. |
3. Due | On the day of the deadline. | Critical reminder with a red-colored due date |
4. Overdue | 4 days after the deadline. | Final automated notification stating that the task is officially overdue. |
💡 Spam Protection
To avoid overwhelming drivers and users, the system automatically stops after the 4th reminder (Overdue). Each notification type within the sequence is strictly sent only once.
How to Disable Reminders (Opt-Out)
If you do not wish to send reminders for an existing task, you can disable the feature in just a few clicks:
