What's new: Up to four automatic task reminders and AI-powered improvements in Post Office

1) Task reminders: An automatic four-stage sequence

Previously, setting up a task reminder sent just one single notification. From now on, the system automatically sends up to four targeted reminders in sequence as a task deadline approaches and eventually passes:

  • Upcoming: at the time you've defined

  • Due tomorrow: one day before the deadline

  • Due today: on the day of the deadline

  • Overdue: four days after the deadline

This change applies specifically to the following task types:

  • 🚗 Vehicle tasks

  • 👤 Driver tasks

  • 📦 Procurement tasks

  • 💥 Damage tasks

  • 📑 Fine tasks / penalty notices

No setup required! If you've already enabled reminders for one of these tasks, the new four-stage sequence applies immediately – including to existing tasks.

No spam: No further notifications are sent after the fourth reminder. You can also disable reminders at any time directly in the task itself.

2) Post Office: Improved overview, direct downloads and a smart filter

Three practical improvements make your day-to-day workflows in Post Office more efficient:

Counter in the menu bar: You can now see directly in the menu bar how many new documents are ready for review – in the same familiar design used for Invoices, Damages and Fines. That way you can tell at a glance where action is needed.

Direct document download: You can now download incoming documents directly – both in the review window and via the actions menu. You no longer need to fully process a document in order to access it. This makes it much easier to handle documents that need to be processed outside of Post Office.

Smart filtering of email signatures and unwanted files: When documents arrive by email, disruptive attachments and signature elements are now filtered out automatically. AI-powered detection hides typical signature images, QR codes, logos and ads, as well as unwanted file formats. This keeps your overview clean so you can focus on the documents that matter, without distractions.
