šļø What is ANTAI?
ANTAI stands for Agence Nationale de Traitement AutomatisĆ© des Infractions. Itās the official French government system responsible for processing traffic offences recorded by police and automated enforcement systems.
For company vehicles, the purpose is to identify the actual driver responsible for an offence so that the fine can be issued to the driver instead of remaining with the company that owns or leases the vehicle.
āImportant: In France, companies that own or lease vehicles are legally required to identify the driver responsible for certain traffic offences.
š How the ANTAI integration works
Once activated, Avrios connects your eligible French-registered vehicles with ANTAI.
Avrios then:
registers eligible vehicles with ANTAI
synchronizes vehicles with ANTAI daily
retrieves new ANTAI offences daily
shows ANTAI offences in the existing Driver fines overview
uses the vehicle and driver information already available in Avrios to help identify the driver
lets you review and submit the driver designation directly from Avrios
lets you reject the designation if you donāt want to designate a driver through Avrios
New ANTAI offences appear together with your other fines. You can identify them by Source: ANTAI and use filters such as source, ANTAI status and due date.
š Which vehicles are covered?
The integration applies to vehicles registered in France š«š·.
You donāt need to operate a fully French fleet. If your company operates an international fleet, your French-registered vehicles can also be included in the ANTAI integration. ANTAI identifies vehicles based on the combination of their license plate and country of registration.
ā How to activate ANTAI
Before Avrios can exchange information with ANTAI, your Avrios admin needs to provide consent once.
The main activation flow starts directly from the Driver fines overview. If ANTAI is available for your account but hasnāt been activated yet, youāll see a banner prompting you to connect ANTAI.
Select Connect ANTAI and confirm the consent. Avrios will then register your eligible French-registered vehicles with ANTAI and start the daily synchronization.
You can also activate the integration manually from General Settings. In the ANTAI section, enable: Share information with the ANTAI
ā
š How to revoke the ANTAI connection
You can revoke your consent at any time from General Settings by disabling the ANTAI connection again.
When consent is revoked:
Avrios stops synchronizing vehicles with ANTAI
no new vehicles are registered through the integration
fines that have already been retrieved remain visible in Avrios
š„ What happens when a new ANTAI offence is detected?
When ANTAI reports a new offence for one of your registered vehicles, Avrios retrieves it and adds it to the Driver fines overview.
ā
The offence can contain information such as the vehicle, date and time of the offence, location, offence type, ANTAI reference number and the driver assigned to the vehicle at the time of the offence.
ā
Where possible, Avrios automatically preselects the driver who was assigned to the vehicle at the time of the offence.
ā ļø Important: ANTAI offences have a 45-day designation period. Make sure outstanding offences are reviewed in time.
š¤ How to assign a fine
Assigning an ANTAI fine consists of two steps, followed by a final confirmation.
Step 1: Confirm your company contact person
First, Avrios asks for the contact person representing your company for the designation. Your own user information is pre-filled automatically. Review the information and adjust it if necessary. This contact information is required as part of the designation sent to ANTAI.
Step 2: Confirm the driver
Next, Avrios shows the driver who was assigned to the vehicle at the time of the offence. The driver is preselected automatically if a corresponding vehicle assignment is available. Available driver information is also pre-filled, including:
address
postcode and city
country
driving licence country
driving licence number
If information is missing, you can add it directly during the process.
š” Good to know: Information you add for the driver is saved in Avrios, so it can be reused the next time the same driver needs to be designated.
If the wrong driver is preselected, you can simply select another driver.
Step 3: Review and submit
Before submitting the designation, Avrios shows you a summary of the company and driver information.Review the information carefully, confirm that itās correct and submit the designation. Once successfully submitted, the driver designation is sent to ANTAI.
ā©ļø What if I donāt want to designate a driver?
You can also choose Reject fine.
Rejecting the designation means that your company doesnāt designate a driver through Avrios. The offence then returns to the traditional ANTAI process and is handled outside the digital designation flow, including communication by physical mail.
ā±ļø Synchronization and timing
Vehicle data and ANTAI offences are synchronized once per day.
After activating the integration, eligible vehicles are registered with ANTAI during the next synchronization.
ā ļø Important: ANTAI offences arenāt imported retroactively. Only offences that occur after a vehicle has been registered with ANTAI through the integration can be retrieved.
ā
š” Why use ANTAI fine management in Avrios?
With the integration, you can manage the French driver designation process in the same place where you already manage your fleet.
It helps you centralize ANTAI offences, reduce manual administration, match offences with vehicle assignments, pre-fill driver information, keep track of open offences and deadlines, and submit driver designations directly from Avrios.
In short: Activate the integration once ā Avrios synchronizes your French-registered vehicles ā new ANTAI offences appear automatically ā review the suggested driver ā complete any missing information ā submit the designation directly from Avrios.
