Financing contracts can now be extended for multiple vehicles simultaneously 🥳

Due to car manufacturers currently facing supply chain issues, many fleets have to use cars longer than expected. This results in contracts needing to be adjusted in order for fleet managers to be able to analyse cost in reporting and keep the fleet data up to date.

We want to save fleet managers the time it takes to manually change contracts one by one and are introducing the option to bulk-edit financing contracts. This feature adds contract versions and new end dates to financing contracts (or no end date if desired).

You can find this feature by selecting one or multiple vehicles on the vehicle overview page, clicking "Manage contracts" and then "Edit contract end date". In the following dialogue, choose which type of financing contract you want to edit and afterwards choose the desired contract end date or leave it empty. You can only edit one type of contract at a time (i.e. leasing or long term rental).

We recommend filtering the vehicle list before editing in order to make the task easier. For instance filter for the expired contracts using "Financing: Contract end" or for the leased vehicles using "Financing: Financing type".
