You have probably seen "Sticker attached" (see picture) but do not understand exactly what this means.

Since your driver has an old paper driving licence, he will thus need a hologram sticker for the driver licence check. The reason for this is quite simple: in order to become legally compliant, you as a fleet manager must be 100% sure that the photos from the driving licence are an original and not a copy. With new driving licences (credit card format) the hologram are already included. Unfortunately, this is not the case with old paper driving licences. Therefore, you have to attach a hologram sticker, which we at Avrios can send to you directly. Please write us an email support@avrios.com and tell us how many holograms you need and to which exact address we have to send it. We will be very happy to send it to you free of charge.

Simply place the hologram sticker on the paper driving licences - the only legal requirement is that no information must be obscured by it.

Once the sticker is attached, please click on "Sticker attached" and then the driver will receive an email/SMS from us and can continue the driving licence check and photograph their licence.

From a legal point of view, you can apply the hologram sticker to your paper driving licence without any hesitation. Even the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs considers the application of a seal to be unobjectionable. Read more here.
