Your employer has decided to work with Avrios for the driving licence check. You have now received an email or SMS about the driving licence check and would like clear instructions on how to complete it. This article explains the process step by step.
Important: You need a smartphone or a tablet to perform the driving licence check with Avrios.
Set-up:
Open the email or SMS you received.
Click on the link "Set up driving licence check now" in the email/SMS.
You will be taken to a dedicated website where you can complete your driving licence check. Click "Get started".
When starting the driving licence check, you can choose between the automated process with AI support and the manual process.
For the automated process, you first need to agree to the processing of your driving licence images by the AI.
You will receive instructions on how to take the driving licence photos in the best possible way.
You take the photos. They are then checked by the AI.
The AI recognises relevant information and possible irregularities.
For the first driving licence check:
The AI reads your driving licence details, such as driving licence number, date of issue, expiry date and country of issue.
The recognised details are displayed for you to review.
After confirming the details, you can submit them.
For subsequent driving licence checks:
The AI mainly checks the quality and validity of the uploaded image.
You do not need to enter your driving licence details again.
Manual process
Alternatively, you can continue to use the manual process.
With this process:
You take a photo of your driving licence without an AI check.
During your first driving licence check, you enter your details manually.
There is no automated check of the image quality or whether the document is incorrect.
You can also switch to the automated AI process at any time during the manual process.
