By activating the "Instant Booking" feature, drivers can book available vehicles from the pool using their driver app without requiring approval from the fleet management. The booking and vehicle assignment occur automatically.
This allows you to effortlessly optimize and automate the entire booking process. Particularly with a high volume of pool bookings, you will benefit from significant time savings in management.
Through intelligent allocation, each booking automatically selects the vehicle with the highest expected remaining mileage at the end of the lease contract. This way, the vehicle mileage is balanced in the long term, avoiding high costs during vehicle return.
The same selection principle applies to purchased vehicles. Here, the vehicle with the lowest average monthly mileage is chosen, thus balancing the total mileage of the vehicles.
Activating the Feature
The setting is activated on a pool basis. To set up a pool for instant booking, simply follow these steps:
Navigate to the "Pools & Vehicles" page.
Open the pool settings of the desired pool by clicking the "pencil" symbol.
Enable the "Instant Booking" setting and save the changes.
This pool is now marked for instant booking, indicated by the "lightning bolt" symbol.
From the Driver's Perspective
To be able to book a vehicle directly and instantly, drivers must be registered and authorized in the system. This is done through the Avrios Driver App.
In the login process, drivers need to sign in with their email and password.
In the booking form, vehicles can now be booked based on availability.
If no vehicle is available in the selected pool, a booking request can still be sent to you as a fleet manager.
