If your company requires strict access controls for pool vehicles, you can now implement these restrictions.
Corporate car sharing provides fleet managers with full control over the access of specific drivers to certain pools, ensuring that only authorized personnel can use the respective vehicles.
This allows you, for example, to make specialized vehicles accessible only to selected drivers or establish department-specific pools.
Activating the Feature
The setting is enabled on a pool basis. To restrict a pool to a specific group of people, simply follow these steps:
Navigate to Pools → Pools & Vehicles.
Open the settings of a pool by clicking on the pencil icon.
Now, enable the Restricted Access option.
In the next step, specify the drivers who should have access to the pool. Then, save the changes.
Now, only the designated drivers will have access to this pool.
Pools with restricted access are identified by the "lock" symbol.
