What can conversations in Avrios do?

In reality, procurement often looks like this: emails go out to suppliers, responses land with different team members, important details are hidden in attachments – and no one really knows the current status.

Conversations in the Avrios Procurement Module solve this exact problem.

They are more than just a message thread – they are your centralized communication tool. Every conversation is linked to a specific procurement and brings together all messages, documents, and actions in one place – clearly structured and accessible to your whole team. This helps you make faster decisions, avoid duplicate communication, and ensure nothing gets lost.


Key Features at a Glance

✉️ Send & receive messages directly

  • Respond to messages directly from Avrios – no need to switch to your email client.

  • All messages are saved chronologically and visible to the entire team.

💡 Tip: You can also forward external emails to your individual procurement address – the message will be automatically assigned to the correct conversation.

To find your individual procurement address:

  1. Go to the Procurement Overview

  2. Click on “Send procurement v email” (top right).


🧠 Use templates for quick replies

  • Create and apply predefined message templates.

  • Ideal for standard inquiries such as offer requests or delivery follow-ups.

  • Saves time and ensures a consistent tone across your team.


🔔 Set reminders for unanswered messages

Want to make sure a supplier responds on time? Set a manual reminder for any message.

  • Choose a date by which you expect a reply.

  • If no response arrives by then, Avrios will notify you – in both the procurement overview and the conversation itself.

  • Perfect for tracking time-sensitive negotiations.

💡 Tip: Use reminders especially for offer requests where timely replies are crucial.


👁️ Mark messages as unread

  • Mark important messages as “unread” to return to them later or to highlight them for teammates.

  • Helpful for staying organized or handing over open threads to a colleague.


📎 Attachments & automatic document extraction

  • Receive documents like offers or contracts directly within the conversation.

  • Avrios automatically extracts key data from many of these documents – so you don’t have to retype or upload anything manually.
