1) New Pool Calendar & Automatic Logbook Sync
Fleet Managers can now enable a visual calendar view for individual pools. Drivers see vehicle availability at a glance and book directly in the Driver App, without a needed form.
Privacy controls: Fleet managers decide what drivers see – from availability only, up to full booking details including the names of colleagues who have reserved a vehicle.
Automatic logbook sync: Every booking is automatically pushed to the Vimcar Fahrtenbuch and assigned to the correct driver, leading to fewer unassigned trips and less manual admin work.
Unified login: Drivers now use the same credentials for both the Driver App and the Vimcar Fahrtenbuch.
Where to find it: Pools & Vehicles → Edit (pencil icon) → Settings → choose between Calendar or classic Form view.
The classic booking form remains fully supported and is a recommended choice for large pools to ensure optimized vehicle rotation. The calendar works best for smaller pools where visibility is key.
2) Connected Cars: Volkswagen Group EVs now available
The range of vehicles eligible for Connected Cars has been significantly expanded. The following models are now available for activation:
Volkswagen: ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ID.7, ID. Buzz
Škoda: Elroq (2025), Enyaq
CUPRA: Born (from 09/2024), Tavascan
Nearly 3,000 vehicles from existing customers are now unlocked for activation. We also fixed an issue where vehicles already connected via the VW App could not be connected through Avrios – this works seamlessly now.
